Windows 10: whatsapp pop up

my whatsapp doesnt show a pop-up...i just happens to see the mssg if just casually hovered on it windows10. i checked all of its settings. evnrything is fine but still i dont get any pop ups

Whatsapp on Nokia X ???

Please follow the steps properly your problem will be solved

1.Download my app "Whatsapp Launcher for Nokia x" from Nokia store.

• Download Latest version of Whatsapp from
  
  http://www.whatsapp.com/android/

• Install Whatsapp you downloaded in step 1 , Complete your Whatsapp login as there will be no error until you login

4. After login complete your Whatsapp will start to show error "DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED"



5. Open app "Whatsapp Launcher for Nokia x" and there will be no error to open Whatsapp have fun.

 

No Whatsapp Mic

Whatsapp text works fine but I can't get audio out to work.
Have been through all the "how to" help and can't find a microphone to turn on for Whatsapp.

Ok, let's try another approach.
This is a new ASUS laptop and I am new to W10.

It is not just Whatsapp; I cant get the microphone to work on other apps either.
I've been through all the steps with privacy, camera, connecting apps and I guess a few others.
There must be some simple enable step I'm missing.

Well, persistence does pay off. I followed some instructions to check for needed driver updates with My Asus and yes, there were newer versions for audio and camera.
I installed them and all is well.
Funny thing is checking in Device Manager I was told I had the latest of everything.
So I learned something new this evening.

IF YOU ALREADY UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION AND

SEE NOT SUPPORTED ERROR GO TO STEP 2ND

FIRST STEP - uninstall your previous version of

whatsapp

And download latest version of whatsapp

Install it on your nokia x or xl , Verify ur no.

After this it will show "your device not supported "

Bt no tension ... all you have done ...

Slide nokia nokia x or xl home screen to left and open recent ... whare you can find

any whatsapp or recent whatsapp msg ... just

click on that and it will open ... to chat with

another friend simply click back or new msg option ...

If u dont find any recent msg then u can ask your

friend to msg you on whatsapp..

STEP 2= To open it directly u have to enable whatsapp

widget ...

To enable it go to home screen and long click on

any icon for few second. After that 2 soft touch

buttons

will pop-up click on right side button .like [][]

this.. and

select whatsapp from the list ...select

whatsapp unread msg

widget the first one in list

After this you see whatsapp widget on home

screen. Click on upper side ,"whatsapp" to

open directly ... don't use whatsapp icon use

widget ...
