Windows 10: When I boot my new laptop up in the morning, the screen goes black.

When I boot my new laptop up in the morning, before even logging in the screen goes black. I hold the power button to restart and it works then. In addition, when I click shutdown on my pc it can take a while to do so. It may also take a while to boot apps. It is an MSI bravo 15.6.

Every morning, Laptop running, screen stays black...

Ok. I take this to mean since my post, at least for now, no need to pull the D: Drive.

I have made the change, and will be re-booting, and report back either after a few days, or after the next black screen freeze.

I've had one successful reboot. The real test will be when the next overnight Windows update happens.

You mentioned bios. I took some pics of the bios. Let me know if you see anything, or want me to delver deeper.

I got up this morning to a locked black screen. No Windows updates installed last night. Does it check every night to see if they are there?

BUT, interestingly, 3 minutes after I booted, a Bert reader device driver successfully installed. I don't know, but maybe that attempted last night but couldn't because of lockup, although, there is no indication of that in the reliability monitor.

Another BUT: I am getting Bert Reader Device successful driver installs every morning after I do the hard boot.

I have Intel driver checking software, as well as HP, that notifies me of new drivers. I am going to manually check those this morning when I get time.
