Windows 10: When I open Google Chrome, i'm unable to hover over the icon and drag any of the other...

So ever since I bought a new PC and installed Windows 11, it's a 50/50 if I encounter this error and the only way to fix it is by restarting my PC. For one, when I open the Spotify app, it won't let me change any songs, I have tried the web browser version and also tried Soundcloud and neither will let me choose different songs, if it does manage to play a song it just resets the song back to 0 seconds after maybe 15-30 seconds of playing. Another issue I encounter with this, is when I open Google Chrome, i'm unable to hover over the Google Chrome icon and select one of the tabs, it quickly di

problem uninstalling google chrome

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Missing Google Chrome system notification icon.

1. Was there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
   
2. Are you able to see other notification icons?
   
3. Have you tested the issue on a different user account?
   

Please try this step and let us know:

As you have already tried enabling the settings in Google Chrome and Windows 10, I would suggest you to create a new user account by following the

link and test the issue.

Note- The notification icon will be missing if you access the Google Chrome in Incognito mode. Please access the browser in normal mode.

Some videos on YouTube not working in Google Chrome

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Have you tried accessing YouTube in different browsers?
• Do you get any error message?
• Do you have issues with all the video files?

Method 1: I would suggest you to launch Google Chrome by right clicking the program icon and select ‘Run as Administrator’ and check for the issue.

If you are unable to launch the program, you may try to open the program from the exact location.

• Open C drive.
• Select ‘Program files’.
• Open ‘Google’ folder and select ‘Chrome’.
• And find the application icon and see if you are able to launch the program.

Method 2: If the issue still persists, it would be a good idea to uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome and check with the issue.
