Windows 10: when im downloading a program i get error 2503 and 2502, windows dialog isnt showing

hey, 2 problems:


1: when i download a program i keep getting the error:

The installer had encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package The error code is 2503. then i get the exact same error after i press OK but with error code 2502



2: when i run a reg file everything is fine but when i put a reg file in powerun a window called windows dialog apperas, i try alt tabbing and clicking on it through taskbar, but it wont open

HELP with errors 2503 and 2502 in Windows 10

Im getting errors 2503 and 2502 whenever I try to install or uninstall something. I have Windows 10 and I've tried nearly all the solutions available online. Please give me suggestions :s

 

Installation internal errors 2503 and 2502

On Windows XP Pro SP2, when I try to install *anything* I get internal error 2503, click ok to acknowledge, immediately get internal error 2502, click ok, and machine aborts the installation.

I can't find anybody who knows how to fix this problem.

Unable to install or Uninstall programs, Error codes: 2502 and 2503.

I have a Dell XPS 8900 that was upgraded from Win 8.x to Win 10 right after I purchased it. I am currently running Win 10 64bit. If I try to uninstall a program like Nero 2016 or install some other program I get an error 2503 and error 2502. Some programs
I am able to install some not. I made sure I was running in Admin mode and I followed numerous suggestions of checking processes to see what was enabled etc but I still have the problem. Is reimaging my only option?
