Windows 10: When laptop reset, stuck in loop saying Windows installation cannot proceed.

I have a victus gaming laptop, when I factory reset the laptop deleting all files and reinstalling windows locally, it gave me an error message saying “… unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows click “OK” to restart…” when I click okay it does the same thing every time. I have tried shutting it down many times

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

2. Are you trying to Reset and Remove Everything or Keep Files?



As per the information you have provided, I understand that you are stuck in a reboot loop. I would suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if you are able to boot into the desktop.

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

Once you are able to boot, I would suggest that you try performing the reset again.

Stuck in a restart loop after reseting my laptop

I'm stuck between the boot and a screen which ask for my country, language, and timezone then it proceeds to the screen saying
''Why did my PC restart?'' and it proceeds to loop back to boot menu to do the same thing again. I can't even access the desktop where i can download and run the Media Creation Tool.
