    When printing in Notepad, the Print dialog displays "No preview available"


    Hello, I am running Windows 11 22H2 OS Build 22621.1105.When I open a new Notepad file and type some gibberish in it like "1234567890" and then go to File > Print, the Print dialog loads but displays "No preview available".Is this by design or is this indicative of a problem?I would appreciate having a working preview in the Notepad print dialog if at all possible.

    Print Preview is not available

    My printer worked until two weeks ago. Now when I go to print, the message "print preview is not available" is displayed and nothing will print. I have run the test page from my computer and it will print. My lap top computer is able to communicate with
    the wireless printer and print documents but my desk top tower computer will not communicate with the wireless printer.

    When printing in Notepad, the Print dialog displays "No preview available"

    Printing notepad

    Is the printer listed in the Printer window when you click File > Print?

    Or is the printer window not appearing at all?

    Is the printer online?

    Can you print from other programs to that particular printer?

    Browse to the Notepad text file, right click it then click Print.

    Does it print or not.
