  1. When viewing pictures in file explorer, keeps moving back to first picture

When I am viewing individual photographs in File Explorer, in effort to delete duplicates, I select one or more and hit delete. However, this Surface Pro 6 constantly sends me back to beginning of the file i.e. the first picture or row, and I have to start over and try and figure out where I am so I do not delete photographs I want to keep. I have a few thousand pictures and this is irritating because after I select one or two and before I hit delete, it goes back to the first picture. If I hit delete, it will delete the first picture as well. It does not stay on the line of pictures I am working on.

How can I fix this problem - it should stay on the same line of photo's I am looking at instead of going all back to the top. Help.

    :)
