    When will the Intel Generation 11 CPU hold on the Install of 22H2 be resolved?


    I have 2 computers with the Intel 11th Generation CPU and both are in hold for installation to Windows 11 22H2. Apparently there is a driver issue with the CPU that conflicts with 22H@ and Microsoft has decided to not install until the issue is resolved. After an extensive search on the internet, I can find no information on this, certainly not on the Microsoft site and also not on the Intel site. Does anyone have any information on this? Your replies are certainly welcome.

    Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

    I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz and it is not listed as supported by Windows11 upgrade for Intel cpu match Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors | Microsoft Learn Is there a way we can expect future support for these processors by Microsoft for Windows 11 upgrade? What is the time frame? After all Intel can not dump all our CPUs without extending support, losing the market by buyer confidence

    Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

    I see that the Intel Core i7-5500u 2.4Ghz is not supported in Windows 11. I see other Intel CPUs listed with less overall power than the i7. Does MS have any plans to expand the CPU supported list?

    When Windows 11 22H2 version will be released?

    Release of 22H2 to the general public is expected to happen in August or September of this year.
