Windows 10: Whenever I join a voice call any it mutes/suppresses all the sounds in the background.

This is especially irritating for things like minecraft or listening music, because without any sound its boring but if you cant call with friends its annoying aswell. This issue has occured right after i sent my pc in for repair so it must be new settings. Ive been trying to find the problem for hours but just couldn't seem to have been able to find anything. Audio is different from the text or screen displayed by the computer, voice ads are also part of the recorded audio, and as far as I know there really is no way to skip audio ads at this time. If the length of the ad is fixed, you might want to try the following:

To mute and unmute sound on your computer using voice commands, you can utilize the built-in voice assistant available in Windows. Here's how you can set it up:

1. Set Up Voice Activation:
   
   • Go to "Settings" on your Windows computer.
     
   • Click on "Privacy & Security" and then "Voice Activation."

I listen to the radio on the pc and the station I listen to has extremely annoying ads and I would like to mute and unmute the sound using a voice command. Is that possible and if so how?

 

Sound suppression problem via bluetooth

Hello,

SO my problem is that when i connect my xbox wireless headset to pc via bluetooth its works fine till i turn on discord then every sound i hear is like suppressed. I tried a lot of things. When Im not in voice talk on discord i can kinda can change the sound back to normal when I try to configure headset in sounds settings but when i start a voice call with sound again starts to be suppressed and i cannot change it.
