Windows 10: Whenver I try to turn on my laptop it boots then a black screen starts blinking?

When I try to turn on my laptop it first boots normally then sign in screen appears as it should but it doesn't respond to anything and after 2-5 seconds a black screen appears on which there's current date and time written at bottom left. This screen sort of blinks and after every 1 sec other black screen appears on which there's shutdown, wifi and language button at bottom right. This/these screen doesn't respond to any commands from either keyword or mouse yes cursor also appears on scrren, even when I try to turn my laptop off through on/off button only screen goes black but I can tell

Blinking underscore and black screen on boot.

I left my laptop to update overnight then I woke up the next day and turned on my laptop then when it booted it showed a blinking underscore and a black background. Please help quick!

You need to turn fast boot off in your control panel, I had the same issue but you need to boot your pc then when the black screen comes up you need to put your pc in sleep mode and then turn it on again, then you got the login screen.. I posted pictures to disable fast boot *Wink

 

Toshiba Laptop Black Screen

I have a Toshiba Laptop, Was reinstalling windows 7 on it last night left it doing the updates then shut it down. Turned it on this this afternoon only to find the laptop screen is Black and also there is a burning smell coming from the Fan.

I connected the Laptop to a external monitor that is fine, Can go into bios, Windows boots up fine Etc.
Just took apart the laptop earlier to check all the cables where in correctly, Checked the motherboard over for any damage, burnt bits but but found nothing. Just put it back together now but im still getting this burning smell and i still cant use the laptop screen only a external screen.

I Tried Pressing FN+F5 to switch to the laptop screen, But still black screen. Any Suggestions please ?
