Windows 10: Where are recovered files in file explorer

A few days ago I was frantically looking for a version of my document that was too old for Version History, not in unsaved documents, not in the recycling bin. I found it by typing in some address that included the terms "C:" and "recovered" in file explorer. Now I need this address again because I assume from my observations that "unsaved documents" and "recycling bin" keep unsaved documents completely arbitrarily and at random and they rarely have what I'm looking for, but I unfortuantely did not think to copy this address, and I cannot find it on the internet for some odd reason.

Recover files from Flash drive

Does not work on a windows pc which is what the OP probably intended

windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows
