Windows 10: Where can I find frequently or recently used files?

I'm coming back to win10 after a couple of years on linux and apple. Getting re-oriented.

How can I get my LibreOffice files (odt, ods, also csv) to show up under Quick Access?

I remember in Windows being able easily to find my most recently used and frequently used files (LO and MS) in one place. Ubuntu has a Recent folder that you can sort and remove things from if you don't need them there anymore. Apple has their Recents section of Finder, but it's not editable. Their smart folders were very useful, functionally what I remember from windows.

Now back in Windows, I've been searching and found various discussions of how to pin files and folders to static locations in Quick Access regardless of where they're stored.

• Bringing up Explorer shows me Frequent Folders that I've pinned, as below, but I don't see any of my recently used LO files. Also no provision for frequently used files.
• I've seen a Favorites place, but that seemed to be for internet URLs.
• I use Libre Office exclusively, and those files don't appear under Quick Access (as below). I think I remember reading something about MS office documents being easy to pin to Quick Access -- while you're in MS Office.

Are MS files the only files that can be managed at the o/s level with Quick Access? What about my LO files?

I'll appreciate any insights.

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
