    Where does windows save the defrag and optimize drives Last ran data?


    So i keep ended up with a barren window that says "never ran" for all my drives. I'd love to be able to keep track/keep an eye on this data.

    I use ccleaner when i feel the urge, and i imagine something I have checked in there is purging the data, i just dont know what Where does windows save the defrag and optimize drives Last ran data? :p

    defrag and optimize drives

    When I go to defrag & optimize drives one of the drives that is listed as "needs optimization" (12% fragmented) is listed as //?/Volume(a27a9b76-0000-0000-0000-40d6e5000000)/ Can I or should I ignore this?

    Defragment and Optimize Drives Problem

    Hi Edward,

    Based on the details you have provided, your C drive was unrecognized by the system. We suggest that you run these
    commands and see if there are any changes:


    • Open
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      the following commands:

      • To fix any logical file errors:

        • Chkdsk C: /f /r


      • To defrag your Drive C manually:

        • Defrag C: /D /U

    Update us on how it goes.

    Where does windows save the defrag and optimize drives Last ran data?

    Windows Defrag

    When running defrag, there is a drive listing for Windows RE Tools. It shows as a solid state drive and that it has never been defragged. It will not optimize. Clicking on it does nothing. Any suggestions?
