    Where is my ram going?


    Hello, in the past week I have ran into a memory issue that I can't quite figure out. I have 8gb of ram on my computer. A program that uses about 2.8gb says it is using 54-60% depending when I check where as before this issue started occurring it was using approximately 30%. I have tried running the windows memory diagnostic tool standard not extended and it came back with no errors. If anyone has an idea of what is going on please help : or link a page with a similar issue.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Where is my ram going? :D

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
