    Where should I install microphone?

I went to set up Skype on my laptop and it says "No device found" for microphone.

Neither is there anything under Control Panel > Sound - it says no audio devices are installed.

I did a clean install recently and there is nothing missing in device manager (no yellow exclamations) so where do I install microphone?

Where should it be? I can't install a driver if I don't know where... I know there is a microphone built in to the laptop as I used it before but now I'm lost how to install it. I am using a 2013 MacBook Pro FWIW.

    :)
