Windows 10: Where to change Windows sampling rate? Is it hidden

Discus and support Where to change Windows sampling rate? Is it hidden in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; I work with audio using an external audio usb interface running at 44.1k.     Where to change Windows sampling rate? Is it hidden


    I work with audio using an external audio usb interface running at 44.1k. Windows is changing it to 48k for some reason...*cry

    so I have to set Windows sampling rate to 44.1k to match my external audio usb interface (scarlett 18i20).

    But I cannot access any page where I can do that inside windows. As u can see in the screenshot, "Playback/Speakers" have no advanced tab to configure.

    I tried to set Device Usage: enable, disable.., nothing works.

    How can I do that?

    audiodp.exe and sample rate

    I cannot change the sample rate in my recording interface because I get message that audiodp.exe is on and this will not allow sample rate change please advise

    I am attempting to change the Sample rate to 2 Channel 16 Bit 44100 Hz on the Recording Tab but this is greyed out and will not accept change

    Help !

    UNABLE TO CHANGE SAMPLE RATE

    I wish it was as simple as that. The sample rate box is shaded which means that it cannot be altered and a notice advises me that this is being used by another application (when it is not)

    I believe it could be a Microsoft problem
