  1. Who was in the cookiejar rom Windows Store? 0x80240004

Yes, you read it correctly! Someone was in my cookiejar and let all my passwords and stuff disappear. I don't know how it happened but when I turned on my PC this afternoon, all my internetcookies were gone and had to re-enable all of my stuff on the sites I visit.

But that's not the end of the story, Windows Store AND Windows Update, both of them threw me an error code, 0x80240004

What that code exactly meant I don't know but after a bit of thinking I decided to rewind my Windows to the 10th of December. But lo and behold: another message popped up, Windows could not restore itself to that state because of... some file?! (I clicked so fast on OK that I can't remember WHICH file that was.) But after that, all was fine. Doublechecked it with /SCANNOW....

Question remains, how is it even POSSIBLE that my whole Windows went weird? I only turned off my PC last night and turned it on today, just to post something on FB... What has happened in the meantime?

    I use Windows 10, v 1909.

(could I have been hacked?? GASP!)

    :)
