Windows 10: Who's NOT having issues on windows 10?

Discus and support Who's NOT having issues on windows 10? in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; First, I am not a hater. I like windows 10. Second, I would like to keep it but can't stand the flickering it does (hurts the eye) some recent update... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Support' started by RWOne, May 16, 2016.

To me that sounds like a driver issue you're having.

Definitely driver related, and in regard to the last sentance, I've found it a rarity that a win 7 or 8 system cant get upgraded to 10.

  3. I'd have to agree. It is a little frustrating that every problem is being blamed on Windows 10, yet many are due to outdated drivers or incompatible software. That's been the case for every new version of Windows, but yet it doesn't sink in to many users. It's like blaming my car manufacturer if it runs out of gas or gets a flat tire.

Who's NOT having issues on windows 10?

I have been running W10 on two laptops and a desktop that was built in 2009. All were upgraded from 8.1. I can say there were hiccups. But, mostly due to my learning curve. I keep reading about the problems others have with a bit of wonder.

Plus how often have we all heard the "I was having problems with My Windows 7 so I thought I would upgrade to 10 and solve the problems"? Those problems just get carried over to 10. It isn't Windows 10 problem, it is the problems you were already having.

Plus I have an old Dell laptop with an Intel T2390 CPU released in about 2007 that runs Windows 10 fine. Any mordern computer should be able to run it, I would think.

  6. I see a mention of having to pay for windows 10 after July 29th? That's only if you haven't done the free upgrade by then, and decide to do it after that date. Anybody that has already done the free upgrade can continue to use Windows 10 for free, on that device, for the life of that device. I get the impression some think Microsoft is going to start charging a fee after that date if you want to continue using your free upgrade. Microsoft has already stated that that is not going to happen.

  7. Up till today I have upgraded over 50 laptops and desktops for friends and family, some had 7 on all went in ok all running fine.
Some had windows 8 and even they went in ok,
Then 8.1 all are running The Edge Browser, none have IE11 or chrome, or firefox,
All have the Mail App and so far as I have put not one is having any trouble.
None of them are new all except the one I use
The rest are 2-3 years old some even older

Who's NOT having issues on windows 10?

I have a 7 years old Dell Inspiron 1420 with only 2 GB Ram and 100 GB Hard Disk capacity. It came preinstalled with Vista and I suspected that Dell upgraded it from XP.

I have been using it for Insider Preview since Technical Preview day and it does not complain.

Been running W10 IP as main OS since day one, as well.
Have had a few glitches here and there but, nothing that's gonna throw me into a perfect tizzy!
