    Why 8 digit code is showing instead of 6? and a solution for this?


    I was trying to login in one of my company website using my Microsoft Account. After gave credential and password it is asked for authentication code which is showing in my authentication app in my phone. I am seeing 8 digits code Microsoft authentication app in my phone, but in Microsoft authentication page is accepting only 6 digits.Why is like this? and please give a resolution for this.Attached some Screenshots for reference.Due to this I am unable to login in my company website and I need some important documents to download from that page.

    Authenticator- 6 digit code vs 8 digit

    I got a new phone and now my Authenticator code is 8 digits so it no longer works with my site

    HAD TO RESTORE MY iPHONE NOW SEEING 8 DIGIT CODE INSTEAD OF 6

    I HAVE HAD TO RESTORE MY IPHONE FROM A PREVIOUS BACK UP AND NOW I CANNOT ACCESS MY CREATOR FUND ON TIK TOK AS MY AUTHENTICATOR APP IS PROVIDING AN 8 DIGIT CODE INSTEAD OF A 6 DIGIT CODE. I HAVE MY SETTINGS SET UP AS A PASSWORDLESS ACCOUNT AND 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION HOWEVER I STILL ONLY GET AN 8 DIGIT CODE.

    COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?
