Windows 10: Why are all my backups on the same period range instead of being split up into smaller...

I've been backing up my laptop for last several months, then today I got the message that my external hard drive had run out of space. Okay, that's to be expected. So I go into Windows Backup, and into the 'Manage Windows Backup disk space,' window.And I see that it has one backup to delete. Backup Period: '9/22/2024 to 12/1/2024.' Size: 730.17GBI have it set to backup once a week. And I only have the option to delete the entire thing, it's not broken up into smaller bits, like, per month.I remember some time previously it had these smaller ranges, so that I could delete some of the older back

Hi, We are looking for public IP Addresses / Ranges of Microsoft Windows Update Services for VPN Split Tunnelling. Requirement is specifically for Split Tunnleing for devices using Cisco ASA VPN. Configuring the Split Tunnel for Windows Updates will allow
VPN users to download the updates directly from Microsoft site and will save some corporate bandwidth.

Below are the URLs we are looking Public IPs or ranges for:

• https://*.prod.do.dsp.mp.microsoft.com
• http://emdl.ws.microsoft.com
• http://*.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com
• http://*.windowsupdate.com
• https://*.delivery.mp.microsoft.com
• https://*.update.microsoft.com
• https://tsfe.trafficshaping.dsp.mp.microsoft.com

Note: Cisco ASA has limitation and cannot configure wildcard URLs.

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.
