Why are we being forced to update windows...I am fine the way it is and do to the negative comments, I prefer no more prompts.

^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.

Suggest you to boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if that helps. A clean boot state will help us to determine if any 3rd party service or application is causing this issue.

When ads get in the way they have negative impact

I just had a popup appear in the lower right corner of my 1920x1080 screen suggesting that I could get some app and not miss reminders again.

Problem was, the lower portion of the message was clipped, so I couldn't tell what app it was. There was also no way for me to dismiss the message and it covered up my IM app for about a minute or so interrupting my conversation. Yeah, not a long time but
it was a negative experience, and the quality of the message was terrible, so why would I get the app?

If you force ads on people, they better be a positive experience.

This has harmed my opinion of Microsoft.
