Windows 10: why cant i get the free trial on Minecraft Realms?

i have been playing a lot of minecraft lately and wanted to get the free trial on the realms for me to play with my friends. when i try to create a realm, it says that im not connected to the internet, even though i am. any idea of what could it be?

Free Trial Realms accidently activated for Java and not Bedrock.

I wanted to use my free trial for Minecraft Realms on Bedrock but when I did it on the Minecraft website it gave me the free trial for Java. I want to put that free trial on my Bedrock.

 

Playing Minecraft Realms with people who bought Minecraft off the Mojang Website.

There should be no difference between Minecraft purchased from the Microsoft Store and Mojang website as they are cross-platform play compatible. You can join/invite people in a Realm as long as they are also listed as Xbox Live friends.
