Windows 10: Why can't I use my Media Player when I want to Download Songs?

It seems that after switching to Windows 11 everything Change. I use to Download Music on Windows Media Player & now I can't even find it on My HP Desktop? Can someone help me get it back !

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Media player. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter.

Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
  
• 
  Run the Windows Media player settings and Windows Media player library
  
  
  
  If the issue persist download the Windows media player

No songs or videos in Media player

I have over 1200 songs and about 40 videos, some in phone memory and some in Sd card in my N900. The only way I can play them is to go to the file mgr and bring'em 1 by 1. Same with my videos. Any suggestions is appreciated in advance for getting my media
into the media player so that it s easier to play them and be able to create play list.
