  1. Why do I not have Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling?

I'm on Windows 10 Version 2004, Nvidia driver 451.48 but when I go into Graphics settings I only have the "Graphics performance preference" thing, but not Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling.

Is there a reason for that? I'd like to try it out. I'm on a 980 Ti

  2. Windows 10 How can I turn off 3D Hardware Acceleration?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

In order to disable 3D hardware acceleration, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

    • Right click on the desktop and select Graphics properties.
    • Select Basic Mode and hit OK.
    • Go to the 3D option.
    • You can disable 3D graphics acceleration from this screen.
Hope this helps. Please reply for further queries on this.

    Hardware Acceleration in Windows 10

I apologize in advance as I am not in IT, but I was recently having trouble with some features while streaming videos. The only fix suggested was to disable hardware acceleration (that's why I'm posting this). I unsuccessfully followed the instructions
suggested to me & they are the same as suggested here by
Ramesh.Kumar (control panel.........display.........advanced settings...........[I'm skipping steps]........troubleshooting). I couldn't find the troubleshooting or hardware acceleration options anywhere.

I did find a way to adjust these settings even though I never saw the actual words, "hardware acceleration". I am sharing it with you if you still need it.

Right Click on desktop > graphics properties

From there you can go to "Display" and/or "3D" and adjust the settings as wanted.

    Good luck!

    JD

Why do I not have Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling?

How do I enable Hardware Acceleration?

While trying to install OS2 Warp 4 to a Virtual Machine under Virtualbox, I'm informed that it won't run because Hardware Acceleration is not enabled.

Can someone PLEASE tell me, step by step, how to do this? Show some mercy on me and don't refer me to MS articles I need an engineer to translate.
