Windows 10: why does focus assist still show me notifications?

i keep getting recommended notifications from chrome and youtube through the action centre when my focus assist is set to alarms only. it happens when I'm playing games, which is frustrating especially if I'm streaming... i also keep getting notifications for things I have no interest in and don't subscribe to but I imagine that's more of a chrome thing than an action centre thing

If you turn off Get notifications from apps and other senders, it will disable notifications from everything except Windows system notifications.

Turning on Focus Assist will turn off all notifications until you turn off Focus Assist.

Thank you. Could you give me examples of Windows system notifications and can all of them be disabled? So, if I turn off the "get notifications from apps and other senders" setting I don't even have to disable other notifications' settings which remain turned on?

What if I turn off notifications and Focus Assist, may I still have any notifications?
