Windows 10: Why does my USB 3.0 HDMI CAPTURE CARD only show as a audio device?

So basically, I'm trying to rig my Xbox One S to my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 laptop and I'm currently having a issue with the USB,I have done everything that I should, The Xbox HDMI is plugged into input,The HDMI to my TV is output, I can see the game on my TV and all the sound is okay, but when I plug the USB into the Surface Pro, Instead of the USB loading in as a Video input, It's a Audio input only, and if I check USB inputs, there is none, then I check my Audio inputs, and its there.I open OBS Studio, click on Video Capture, Nothing...But if I add Audio its there...I'm really confused.

Game Card Capture HDMI/USB

So I am trying to plug in my game capture card, I have 3 different kinds, and none of my streaming programs are detecting any of them. I have tried all 3, many different ways as well as unplugging/rebooting everything. Am i doing something wrong? Is it my computer? I just streamed my switch using one of the game cards on my HP laptop the other night and it worked fine. I just got a new All in one HP desktop and it isn't reading any of the Game Capture Cards. I've tried hdmi port, USB, SS Usb, as well as a new one that uses the USB and plugs directly into the switch (I watched a YT video on it and did the steps exactly like the guy and it still did not work). Is this desktop just not compatible with Game Capture Cards? I also just used HDMI to HDMI directly from the switch to the desktop and obviously that did not work either. Help!

Well I have the USB transfer cable plugged into my laptop and the HDMI cable plugged into the GPU alongside the monitor (TV) connected through a VGA cable via a DVI to VGA adapter. Since the VGA cable itself cannot transfer audio, my only audio device is a set of headphones as well as headset with a microphone. My question is which one of the devices that I have listed in my picture is what I need or if just switching to at least one of the devices is enough as well as why NVIDIA HDMI Output Ports 1-3 are listed as not plugged in?
