Windows 10: Why does my V key not work alone?

Hello, so i am getting an issue about my V key that if i don't press shift or alt with it, it does not work. I haVe tried with external keyboard and eVen with on-screen keyboard. Its a weird software issue. It works for like 2 to 3 seconds when my PC boots but i guess its a specific serVice that starts up and blocks it and also the fact that eVery V in my message is written with shift . If there is a solution to this problem please let me know.

Windows key + V doesn't work

I'm using Home. Thanks everyone but I had previously followed ALL the steps recommended in your posts including enabling Group Policy Editor and enabling "Allow Clipboard History" within it. All the settings for the clipboard are correct but Windows Key + V doesn't work. To dalchina, as I indicated in my post, I am using version 1809 with build 17763. See images.

I followed the same steps and it worked.

I created another account because I didn't have one already. In that new account, Windows + V worked. I then logged out of the new account and logged backed into my main account and like magic, Windows key + V worked! I have no idea why this worked but it doesn't matter as long as it works.

Windows key + V doesn't work

Now that 1903 has been released to the public, surely there is a much larger base of individuals with this problem.

In my case, I created a second user account... but when I log into it, the Win+V key combination does NOT work to bring up the Clipboard. So, the method described in this thread (switching accounts and then back) does NOT work. I have tried this method several times, in addition to everything else I can imagine to 'reset' Clipboard access via Win+V. Nothing works.

Perhaps it is time for an update to this thread. Any further suggestions?
