  1. Why does Speedtest.net show ads when I fully initialized ad blockers?

Speedtest.net seems to be showing ads on Chrome for me. I've been told by some people who were pretty tech savvy that the way to properly initialize ad blockers on Chrome was to install the first three extensions that would be listed on the Chrome webstore. I have since done this and Speedtest.net still shows ads. Is Google Chrome not working or something? I can't seem to find anyway to remove these ads from my sight. Please let me know what is going on. That would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  3. Ad blockers

my friend is having problems with pop up flash ads, it's a virus but his anti-virus (nod 32) can not find anything, so do any of you know good ad blockers running in IE 7 as he really doesn't want to run firefox because his PC goes crazy, otherwise suggest another anti-virus program that would be good and able to find the virus, however it would have to be free.

Why does Speedtest.net show ads when I fully initialized ad blockers?

    ad blocker

Ad blockers as a type of software are safe to use with web browsers. However, whether or not any particular ad blocker is safe to use depends on the ad blocker in question.
