Windows 10: why does Windows 10 keep refreshing

I will have a folder open and trying to work in it. My folder will freeze up and at the top it will turn dark, then my Windows 10 keeps refreshing. I am getting so tired of this. It happens constantly I can't get anything done. When it refreshes everything goes away and I have to put my password in to get back to windows.

What is going on, need to get this fixed.

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Win10 Email refresh?

  In search type Mail app.

  In top right corner you will find a refresh button
  
• 
  Click on refresh button and check if it sync with the account
