    Why does Windows make finding files hard


    Why does Windows make it impossible to find files? Rather than search the whole drive I have to folder by folder. This is probably the worst version of Windows ever. How does a company continue to make a product worse rather than improve? Do you actually listen to the users or just pull ideas out of a fishbowl ala family guy? Actually us Seth McFarlane running Microsoft? Because that would make sense.

    Stored files in Hard Drive

    You can use Windows search. Just search for *.* on a desired drive. When list is done just arrange them by size LOL.

    You can do it via command line as well and make an output text file showing files and their sizes (but without arrangement)

    Cannot find (Seagate) external hard drive in File Explorer.

    Thank you, Billion, for all the help. Unfortunately, the drive still doesn't show up in File Explorer. The computer recognizes it, and reads that the external hard drive is working properly. However, I still can't access anything inside it.

    Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

    Hey guys,

    In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
    However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

    Any suggestions?
