Windows 10: why dose my pc lag even tho we have the same model ?

me and my sister both have same exact pc with win 10 6gb ram intel core i3 2328m wiht hd 3000 and 750gb hdd we both play sims 4 while she can play on all mid 1080p run llike butter, while me on the other hand the game run like **** even tho its on 720p low it like get me between 15-25 fps and my sister have 45-55, on gta sa she get 75fps and i get 20-30

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

When playing downloaded videos on laptop, it lags.

• What is the make and model of your PC?
• From where did you update the display adapter?
• Did you check playing in Windows media player?
• Which file format are you trying to play?
• Is the issue specific to the Video or all the videos?
