Windows 10: why i am unable to see my drives during boot time installation when i opt to install any...

recently i have encountered some lag issues in my win 11 laptop hp envy x360 16gb ram - 512gb ssd, intel evo i7, intel iris Xe graphicsthen i wanted it to reset, but when i am done resetting, i was unable to boot into my win11. it says user profile not found. so i wanted to manually install windows 11 from an external pendrive. but when i was doing it, during the time of selecting drive to install windows, i was unable to see my drives. it says " no drives found " . i'm so sick of getting these errors very often in windows. hopefully can someone tell me the reason behind this?thank you.

Unable to install Windows

Make sure that the SATA drive is listed in the BOOT order in your BIOS.

 

Unable to install any OS

Hi guys, I'm unable to install any OS. I tried ubuntu and got input/output error, tried installing window 7 error 0x80000010.

Downloaded iso's of both again and again still same result. Got a new SSD still the same, tried a different usb still the same.

I'm fed up, have been trying since the past 1 month still am unable to install.
I've listed my specs in my profile.

PS Have even tried/changed my ram.
Where the pug is the problem ?

I have been using live usb to work on computer for now but I need a permanent OS.

 

Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:

• Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
• When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
• Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
• When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
• This time enter your product key
• When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
• Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it

Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.
