Windows 10: Why is it so hard to buy a different subscription?

I just bought a computer with Windows 10 Home, and I've activated the trial for Office 365. My account has be down for recurring payments for the 5-device version. I want to buy the subscription to the 1-device version. However, when I try to get a different payment plan, I'm "told" that this is the only plan available!


What do I have to do to buy the $69 per year subscription rather than the $99 subscription that I seem to be locked into even though I'm still on the trial?

You should not have to buy the bigger subscription, especially if you're still only on the trial. If you cannot change it now in the Account, then contact Microsoft Store Support here:

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
