    Why is Microsoft Teams still saying it needs an update in Defender but we have updated all...


    We are an Azure environment. We have a recommendation to update Teams to the latest version which we have on every single machine it says is exposed but yet the exposed devices never go away in Defender. Does anyone have any explanation for this? These VMs do have more than one user that logs in, could that be the issue?Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

    I appreciate your interest on Windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below:

    • Type defender in the search box.
    • Click on update.
    • Check for the date on which defender is being updated.
    • If the recent date is mentioned then it will not show in the Automatic Updates.
    • Also click on update definition and check if any update is pending.

    Sorry but I just want to see Defender updates listed in my update history. Updates for office 2010 etc are shown so why not Windows Defender?

    Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Available Today

    Oh dear they're still pushing that. I STILL don't like the metro tiles and stuff!
