why is my hello pin not working when i try to login to my microsoft 365 software on my desktop but i login into my computer with my pin i have even changed my pin and it still dose not work why can you not over ride the pin with you password should be the may way you login to anything to do with Microsoft?

HI Tracee. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.

You should be able to use the password at any time by choosing Sign in Options link under the password box on the Sign-in page. We must always have at least a password, before we can even have a PIN, Windows Hello or other sign-in options.

Is it possible you have your MS 365 purchase on another MS Account? Is it a personal or business account?

Change the PIN in Windows Settings > Accounts > Sign in Options.

Why Can't I login with my pin

My problem is, i can't sign in with my pin. I'm using pin for my login and not my microsoft password for any situation. i’ve got an update last week since now i can’t login with my pin, if i try so,
it is showing me that your device is offline and sign in with the last password used. i’ve tried everything changing my pin, removing and adding it again, and so many. but, still its showing the same. But, i can login into my lap with my microsoft password
without any issue. Kindly suggest me a solution for this as i feel using pin for my sign in is very easy comparing with microsoft password.
