Windows 10: Why is my Outlook in Spanish?

Hey,

I just reinstalled Windows and the language is English (United States). Why's my Outlook in Spanish though?
How do I change it? I need step by step instructions since I don't speak Spanish and I never chose Spanish or anything.

I suggest you to try the steps below to install Spanish language pack and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I key.
• Go to Time & Language.
• Click on Region & language.
• Click on Add a language.
• Search Spanish and follow the on-screen instructions.

Typing Spanish in Outlook

Hi,

My default language in Windows 10 and Office 365 Outlook is English, but at times, I need to type in Spanish. I do not want to change the default language because then all labels/signs will be in Spanish. Is there an Alt code to use for Spanish characters
(I think about 13 including the accented letters in both caps and lower case, the inverted question and exclamation mark, and the n with the tilde) in Outlook while the language is set to English, or is there another way? Please advise. Thanks.

Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

• Did you make any changes to the computer?
• Since when you are facing this issue?
• Does the folders on your hard drive are in Spanish language?

I would also like to know which region of your Windows is installed on your computer.
Follow the steps to know the region of the Windows.

• Type Region in search box.
• Click on region.
• Go to location tab.
• Check if the Home location is set as Spanish.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

Method 1:

• Press Windows logo key + X key.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click on Language.
• Click on Advance settings.
• Click on Restore defaults.
• Now restart your computer once and check.

Method 2: Login with Microsoft account.

If you have another Microsoft account, login using that Microsoft account and check if the issue still persist.

If you don’t have another Microsoft account, I suggest you to create new Microsoft account and check.
