Windows 10: Why is my PC completely quit functioning after every windows 10 update

I have had this problem for almost a year now that every time I update my win 10 everything seems okay at first but when I log in not a single application opens when I click them keys doesnt work start menu doesnt work. I can restart in safe mode if I dont log in but I cant restore my pc and I cant remove the update it wont allow me to do so. I have to completely reset my pc every time and Im sick of it someone pls help me not updating isnt an option because after a while it forces me to update it

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
