Windows 10: why is my usb showing as "unknown device" in device manager

Discus and support why is my usb showing as "unknown device" in device manager in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i accidently unplugged a usb to my wireless headset and when i plugged it back in it didnt work and the device is not showing up in "sound" settings....     why is my usb showing as "unknown device" in device manager


    i accidently unplugged a usb to my wireless headset and when i plugged it back in it didnt work and the device is not showing up in "sound" settings. it shows as "unknown device" in device manager aswell and when i click properties it says"The drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28 The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device instance. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."i tried updating the drivers by having them in my files but it still couldnt find them. what do i do?
