Windows 10: Why is the 2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 stuck at 20% installation?

The Windows Update is stuck at 20% installation for the "2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5026361." Stays stuck at 20% for several hours, I even leave it installing all day while I go do personal chores and errands. And this is after I tried fixing this problem by going through the trouble of re-installing Windows 10 all over again. It did not fix the problem.Here are some relevant Device and Windows Specifications for my laptop computer: Processor IntelR CoreTM i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz Installed RAM 8.00 GB System type 64-bit operat

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
