Windows 10: Why is the DOS Terminal popping up?

Okay, I am not sure if this is the suitable category but here goes. Windows Defender is running a full scan for a virus that hijacks the homepage of Edge to a russian pornographic site. All of a sudden a DOS black window thingy popped up for 2 seconds. This has happened multiple times in the past when I used PCs with Windows 7 with no antivirus. And those PCs ended up dying without a logical reason. So I am skeptical about this as it's the first time in this PC. How do I stop this, and how much of a threat is it? It's obviously not supposed to happen as all things windows does happens in the background without the user knowing.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
