Windows 10: Why Is The Microsoft Store Download Speeds So Slow?

To be clear I know for fact this issue will not be fixed. Not only have I stumbled across numerous threads of people with the same issue and customer service is pure trash simply because they don't have a fix for it.


I'm simply here to complain and honestly baffled that a company like Microsoft who also has the Xbox service has the worse download speeds ever. FACT! I just don't get it. Here I am with fiber speeds of 900MBps+ and when downloading from Steam, Origin etc it goes amazingly well. GO figure.


But when I use the MS store to download movies or games it would be god awful and its not like I haven't restarted my computer or did the stupid login and logout with a different account recommended options. No i tried everything to a point where it's clear its a MS issue.


No explanation really aside from just deal with it. And if it works it works.


Listen I'm a huge MS supporter here, I may one of the few who really love windows 10, and with more and more features coming out I can't complain. But if i could for one particular thing, it's that their MS Store is garbage. From UI to clearly bandwidth limitations, you just can't win.


If someone here by any chance has a solution that is a permanent let me know. As at the moment I can't find one.

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?
• And also all by Jane La in the below: Microsoft Store Very Low Download Speeds

Some users have reported that they're experiencing some computer issues after installing KB4074588. In this case, we suggest uninstalling the said update by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + i to open Settings, then select
  Update & security.
• Click Update history.
• Under Update history, click Uninstall updates.
• Highlight KB4074588, then click Uninstall (beside Organize).

Please post back with the result for further assistance.
