Windows 10: Why is the Recforth Screen Recording Software ONLY recording for 1 minute?

HiI am a long time, free user of Recforth from the Microsoft Store which I have used to record the things I do on my Windows 10 Desktop PC for many months. Today was the first time I've used Recforth in a while but I am noticing that when I hit 'record' that it only records for up to 1 minute. After 1 minute the recording automatically stops and I get a popup message about upgrading to a payment subscription. Why is Recforth doing this? The free version of the software had always previously let me record anything on my Desktop PC for as long as I wanted - there was no time limits, but now th

Hi,

To resolve your concern about screen recorder, follow the steps below:

• Click on the Windows logo found at the lower left hand corner of your desktop.
• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• On the left hand side, click on Storage.
• Click on This PC.
• Scroll down, and click on Temporary files.
• Click on Delete temporary files.
• Restart your computer, and then try screen recorder again.

Regarding the Windows shortcut for your screen recorder, follow the steps below:

• Open your Xbox application.
• On the left hand side, click on the Settings icon.
• Click on the Game DVR tab.
• Make sure Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR is
  On.

Steps Recorder there... but not there

I seemed to have been saved by a link to this fix:
Please use regedit to rename hklm\software\policies\microsoft\windows\AppCompat - changeAppCompat to AppCompat_HOLD . Then try launching PSR again.
Tried it and now Steps Recorder seems to be working as it should.
But to follow up on your suggestion, I'm going to try to find and repair the corrupt files that my sfc scan found... after setting a restore point!

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELED for screen recorder software

Hey there,

My system Configurations:

1. PC: Dell Inspiron 15R 5521
2. Windows: 8.1 (Licensed Version)
3. Graphics: AMD Radeon Graphics 8730M and Intel HD 4000 Family Graphics

I was using the software Filmora Scrn, after screen is recorded and recording is stopped I saw this error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELED

I Updated my AMD Graphics but the error persists. (AMD HD Re-Live - This is Current Graphics)

This error is only occurring when recording screen with Filmora Scrn.

How may I fix this issue.
