    Why is the snipping tool leaving a watermark on my snips ?


    The watermark is located in the lower right portion of the capture "Rectangular Snip" see below

    In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.

    You can.

    Simply change the 'Save as type' selection when you save your snip.

    The Snipping Tool remembers which type you used last and suggests this type for your next snip.
