Windows 10: Why is Windows 10 a must have OS?

    Absolutely Dreamz! For some odd reason, this has only happened to me (and very, very often) in Windows 7. It no longer happens in Windows 8/8.1 and 10.

    Yep, and Windows XP is quite moldy . . . Yet folks still continue to use it for whatever reason they choose.

    Yes and no. The free upgrade doesn't apply to Enterprise and VL versions but if they have a software assurance contract with Microsoft they will get it that way. They basically already paid for it.

    Well, phooey, that's not what I want to see in my update box! *Smile

    But there they are! Could there be a new build lurking behind these updates? Inquiring minds would sure love to know, and are about to (most likely) be disappointed. *Smile

    Well for me there is one big thing that makes me go the "Win-10 route". DirectX 12. *Wink

    And a minor thing is the look of desktop and windows in 10. I like it a lot more than the look in win8/8.1 *Smile

    But it will be a shrunk Windows 10 I will get. In Denmark, there is no Cortana (and there will not be for a long time recording to Microsoft), and we can't get a date for, when Windows 10 is ready for us in our language, properly "sometime in August" have I read.

    Beside of the above, I really don't think there are many differences between win8.1 (fully updated of course) and Windows 10 for us who don't have or use touch or Cortana or "modern apps".
