Windows 10: Why is Windows 10 build 1903 been such a installation problem?

I just felt the need to air my fustration, and view over this update.


I realise this updates being offered out slowly, the idea being to iron out bugs, and to get the public to experience issues then find the workarounds and solutions, problem solving it's os for Microsoft.


The os has grown, and evolved over the years, version by version, mutating over time, but i think although Windows 10 was a close comparison to Windows 7 at one stage, it looks to me as if it's becoming overly complicated and more fussy with each bugfix, and compatibility pack or update build.


I looks to like even doing a simple update, or upgrade is too much for the Win 10 os to handle, with USB items needing to be unplug, or left in, autorun files corrupt, error codes after downloads, and hardrive space an issue.


What happened to you Microsoft?, It's like the unsucessfully Windows phone attempt really through you a curved ball, and you're still dusting yourself off.


What you need is to revitalise, and rethink your approach with Win OS, maybe close down and protect the Win 10 core, a bit like android, make it a lighter and less of a bloated os , and you really need to sort out these continuous updates packages (theres never a good time for them, and there always an inconvenience at any point in time)


I have this feeling that the Windows 10 development approach, really needs to change, or radical rethink.


Just my opinion, and i'm allowed to have one.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
