    Why is windows 10 eating my ram?


    So.. i have 32gb of ram. Should be more than enough....

    I search for some files using windows search, restart a process or two... no program (that doesn't auto-start on boot) is open. And i'm no tech illiterate that auto-boots three different versions of Avast, CCleaner and Amazon Desktop app! Just drivers and some low-profile services.

    20/32gb used... Taskmgr doesn't know why it is used, or by whom, it just knows that it is used.

    Only thing that helps is a reboot. wtf

    Win-10 eating up ram ?...

    I know there is a problem with Google chrome eating up all the ram on my Macs.

    I think it is doing the same thing on my Win-10 computers.

    As soon as I close Google chrome browser my ram usage drops back down to normal.

    How can I print out the list of running processes ?

    Windows 10 eating a lot of RAM

    It's mostly system and compressed memory or something?

    Why is it eating up over a GB of RAM?

    I can't tell anyone to upgrade. My other computers....only have 4GB of RAM....which would all be used up with the way 10 runs (whereas with 7...it maxes out at under 80 with a game running)

    In other words, Why is Windows 10 such a RAM hog and wasn't in the beginning?

    Window 10 Eats half my RAM

    Hi, so I bought a 8gb RAM so I can play MHW because I can't play it on 4gb RAM. So when I installed it windows literally eats half of it just as I opened my pc. and I did do the "Virtual memory" stuff but it still doesn't help it still eats half of my RAM.
    please help, why is this happening?
