  1. Why Is Windows Update rebooting after a mere .NET framework update?

Every Single Week my computer reboots for some miscellaneous update, including ones that have nothing to do with security.

Today, it was merely a .NET update "Preview" which I don't use/need anyways, and the removal of Adobe Flash player. In February, there were two Windows Update reboots in the span of two days, one being another .NET preview and the other being a simple installation of a malicious software removal tool.

Why did this prompt my system to reboot mid-week, without prompting?

I am one of millions of people who use their computers for complex tasks day after day, and cannot have surprise reboots for no reason.

Microsoft execs: This terrible product design is making me, a loyal Windows user for 30 years, want to move to a Mac.

    :)
