Windows 10: Why my wifi cannot connect windows updates and downloading language packs, while my phone...

When I try to update my windows and download language packs with my house wifi, I can't do it.

The windows says "We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet." However, if my computer connects the cell phone network, which is 5G, it can download windows updates. It works with other house's wifi as well. This downloading problem takes place only with this computer that I have bought recently.


I can still connect other websites such as Google, but only downloading windows related services is a problem at the moment.


What I have tried so far is....

1. Formatting my computer and reinstalling Windows 2 times.
2. Searching windows forum and tried this solution "Reset windows updates" - As the download link is broken, I copied and pasted the codes and created the text file and changed its name to "WuReset.bat". When I ran the file in the adminstrator mode, it automatically shuts down. The problem is not fixed, though.

What can I do? Any suggestions? Sorry that I do not have any logs to show you guys.

Cannot download language pack on Windows 10

We suggest checking Windows Update and see if you have the latest version of Windows 10. Also, we suggest connecting your device directly to your modem (wired connection) instead of using WiFi and see if it has the same issue. If the steps provided did not
help, we suggest creating a new account with admin privileges and try to download the language pack from there.

Update us on the result.

 

Speech language pack is not download!!

• When you say Language pack it not downloading, do you receive any error message?
• If yes, what is the error message?

There are few languages that windows 10 has pre installed in the system itself, I suggest that you check these languages and locate the language that you want to install. Follow the steps below to locate the language.

• Click on the Start Menu, locate and select Settings.
• Click on Time and Language.
• Locate and select Region and Language.
• Click on Add a Language.

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1
