Windows 10: Why system hangs even after upgrading RAM?

I have Dell Laptop with following specs: Windows 10 Pro x64 i5-5200U @2.20GHz RAM:12GB(4+8) HDD:1TB

And yet, it doesn't work snappy. Windows/Browser/Softwares don't open fast. Most of all when I edit my youtube videos on Techsmith camtasia, it throttles CPU usage to 100% frequently and hangs application for 10-20 seconds and sometimes in worse cases even closes it .

What's the issue? I am not able to sort it out. Kindly help.

System hangs

Hi,

Os upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and after upgrade the system hangs when it is idle for sometime. It will be unresponsive and I need to manually restart the Laptop.

Any Suggestions and solutions Please

Video card or RAM need upgrading?

Memtest: no errors after 10 hrs.
I'm going to perform the Primetest, later on. Get back to you on that.
I'm going to take it step by step, guys. I need to find the problem with this current computer. I might have to upgrade some components, so that it is still runnable. As for the new one, yes....i will build on it later. I need to find something decent 'gaming experience', all suggestions appreciated. THanks.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
