Windows 10: Why the left and right channels swapped as if by default?

I had this issue with many PCs I had and again with my brand new one.

How do I know? I play sound tests and I noticed it listening to music and when playing video games.

This is not the case using BT, then it is something with gigabyte motherboards or windows.

I checked the BIOS and there is nothing about audio channels.

Even if there is no solution, do we know why is it happening, what the source of this issue?

I am using K-Lite Mega codec updated.

How to swap left and right audio channels

My headset swaps the left and right audio channels. I used Equalizer APO previously but I had to reinstall Realtek due to some issues. When I tried doing the same fix again after reinstalling, it no longer works. Are there any other ways to swap the channels?
Why doesn't windows have a built in setting for this? or is there any way to do it through Realtek? Using mono isn't an option for me since I work with sound a lot and need stereo.

Are you using a different version of Windows? Your instructions do not fit with what I see on my Win 10 screen. See below.

The signal is on the left channel and there is only noise on the right channel. I do not primarily want to adjust the levels, I want to swap the channels left -> right. Closing down the left channel then would be a marginal improvement.

Make sure that headset 3.5mm plug is pushed all the way in

Are you sure that you have the headset on the correct way round - I know this sounds like a stupid thing to suggest . .

Windows by default does not allow swapping of left and right channels . . .

What Audio icon do your see in your bottom right System tray, is that realtek or some other sound panel?

What is the exact Make and Model of that headset?
